À propos de ce test

Practice for the FAA Fundamentals of Instructing (FOI) knowledge test, required for flight and ground instructor certificates, with original questions written from the FAA Aviation Instructor’s Handbook (FAA-H-8083-9B, 2020). Every correct answer is backed by a passage of the handbook and checked by two independent verifiers.

  • Study: every question with a short explanation.
  • Topic drills: human behavior and the learning process, effective communication and the teaching process, assessment and critique, planning instructional activity, the instructor as a professional and risk management.
  • Mock test: 50 questions, 35 correct (70%) to pass, as the FAA Flight Instructor ACS (FAA-S-ACS-25) states.

The questions are written in our own words; this is not the FAA’s question bank.
