When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (password hash or Google OAuth token). When you make a purchase we collect payment information processed securely through Stripe - we never store your full card number.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Capxule service, process transactions, send transactional emails, and maintain account security. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Capsule Data
Capsule content is encrypted at rest. Decryption happens server-side only when you or your AI assistant requests it through an authenticated session. Raw capsule payloads are never sent to your browser.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google OAuth for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and AWS for hosting. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the service is used, and Google AdSense to display advertising on some pages. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the service is used, and advertising cookies to support the ads described in the Advertising section below. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@capxule.com.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service.
8. Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display ads on some pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
