When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (password hash or Google OAuth token). We also collect usage data such as capsule creation and sharing activity to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Capxule platform, manage your capsules and shares, process marketplace transactions, send transactional emails, and maintain account security. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Capsule Data
Capsule content (facts, preferences, constraints, instructions) is stored securely on our servers. Your capsule data is only accessible to you and users you explicitly share it with. When accessed via MCP or API, authentication is required.
4. Sharing and Collaboration
When you share a capsule, the recipient gains access to the capsule content based on the permissions you set (viewer or editor). Share links can be revoked at any time. We do not share your capsule data with anyone you have not explicitly authorized.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Google OAuth for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, OpenAI and Google Gemini for AI features, and AWS for hosting and storage. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data and capsules for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at hello@capxule.com.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service.
