1. Information We Collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (password hash or Google OAuth token). When you make a purchase we collect payment information processed securely through Stripe - we never store your full card number.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Capxule service, process transactions, send transactional emails, and maintain account security. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Capsule Data
Capsule content is encrypted at rest. It is used on our servers to compose the answers you, or an AI assistant acting for you, ask for. Raw capsule content is never sent to your browser or to an assistant in bulk: each answer carries only what that step needs.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google OAuth for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and AWS for hosting. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the service is used, and Google AdSense to display advertising on some pages. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the service is used, and advertising cookies to support the ads described in the Advertising section below. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data, conversations and journey progress for as long as your account is active. Guest sessions (when you try a journey without an account, on our website or through an AI assistant) expire after 7 days and are then deleted, unless you connect them to an account. We keep limited operational records (such as usage and request logs) to run, secure and bill the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@capxule.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service.
8. Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display ads on some pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of some other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices.
9. AI Assistants and Connectors (capxule.ai)
You can use Capxule from AI assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude through our connector at capxule.ai. When you do, we receive only what the assistant sends to our tools on your behalf: your questions and choices for a journey, the name of the assistant, a technical connection identifier, and basic request data such as your IP address. We do not receive your other conversations with the assistant; the assistant provider handles those under its own privacy policy. No sign-in is needed to start: we create a temporary guest session tied to the connection. If you choose to connect a Capxule account, the email address you give the assistant is used to send you a one-time code; once you confirm it, your journey is linked to your account. We never ask for a password through an assistant and never take payment details there. You can disconnect an assistant at any time from your Capxule account settings (Connected apps), or by asking the assistant to disconnect; access ends immediately.
10. AI Model Providers
Capxule uses AI models from providers such as OpenAI, Google and Anthropic to compose answers, images and translations. To do this, the relevant part of your message and the capsule knowledge needed for the answer are sent to these providers through their business services, which do not use this data to train their models by default. Each provider processes the data under its own terms and privacy policy.
11. Your Rights and Choices
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and withdraw any consent you have given, by contacting us at hello@capxule.com or through your account settings. Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have additional rights, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
12. Children
Capxule is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to use it (16 in the European Union), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from younger children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
