Sobre este test

Practice for the FAA Instrument Rating airplane knowledge test with original questions. Rules questions are written from the current text of 14 CFR Parts 61 and 91 on eCFR; instrument flying, systems, human factors and procedures questions are written from the FAA Instrument Flying Handbook (FAA-H-8083-15B). Every correct answer is backed by a passage of the source and checked by two independent verifiers.

  • Study: every question with a short explanation.
  • Topic drills: regulations and currency, flight instruments and attitude flying, human factors and spatial disorientation, atc, clearances and ifr procedures, navigation systems and approaches, ifr weather and emergencies.
  • Mock test: 60 questions, 42 correct (70%) to pass, as the FAA Instrument Rating ACS (FAA-S-ACS-8C) states.

The questions are written in our own words; this is not the FAA’s question bank. Chart, approach plate, figure and computation questions are not included.
